A woman who records her sleep-talking husband’s mutterings has become an internet sensation.
In the past week, over half a million people from over 50 different countries have read the blog.
In her ‘Sleep Talkin’ Man’ blog, Karen Slavick-Lennard says, that her “mild-mannered English husband” Adam lives a “colourful existence in his dreams”.
Adam, who works in advertising, talks about everything from potatoes and pants to surreal comments about vampire penguins and zombie guinea pigs.
After “hours of delight at his dead-of-night musings”, Karen decided to tape them and share them with the world.

On Tuesday this week, Adam muttered: ‘Pork chops are most satisfying. Mmmmmmm. Dangle them from the ceiling’.
According to his wife, Adam has never eaten pork chops!

‘Shhhhhhhhh. Shhhhhhhhh. I’m telling you: your voice, my ears. A bad combination’.
‘Potato bags. I can’t find my potato bags. I need them desperately. Who’s got my potato bags?’

Karen began logging Adam’s night-time musings on a laptop last year before switching to a voice-activated tape recorder.
She said: “I just cannot believe what he comes out with, and neither can he when he listens to the tapes. We laugh like crazy every morning.
“Adam’s personality is completely different to Sleep Talkin’ Man. He is a witty, kind, delightful, humble man. He thinks of it as a different person.”
